On the western edge of the village of Těpeře in Jabloneck, in the direction of the village of Bzí, four beautiful small-leaved lime trees have been growing for three hundred years. The state-protected trees still remember the times of Napoleon, as well as the Prussian-Austrian war, when Prussian soldiers rested in their shade in 1866. During World War I, local women prayed here for the return of their husbands and sons.
In 2003, Téperské lindens were selected by the jury for the finals...
