The dry rocks are best seen from the Jizera valley in the vicinity of Malá Skála. They look very powerful and majestic, and with their sharp ridges they somewhat resemble the Dolomites. After all, they are often called the Maloskalské Dolomites even among climbers or old settlers. But when you come closer, it is really sandstone, albeit harder than, for example, in Prachovské skály. Not bad to stop here off the main tourist…
