Telč - St. Jacob's Lookout Tower

It is the highest city landmark, which stands next to the church of St. Jakub. It is open to the public in the season and its total height reaches 53 m. The observation deck is located 33 m above the ground and a total of 162 steps lead to it. The balcony offers a unique view of the entire city and the surrounding area. Two historical bells called Jakub and Marie are located in the tower and they come from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries.
