Saint John under the Rock
Not far from the town of Beroun, in the deep valley of the Loděnice stream, in the very heart of the Bohemian Karst, is the village of Svatý Jan pod Skalou. The name of this place itself is not exaggerated. According to legend, St. lived here in the 9th century. Ivan, also known as Jan Poustevník. He was allegedly the first hermit in Bohemia.
