One of the most visited places in the Czech Karst is the village of Svatý Jan pod Skalou, surrounded by picturesque surroundings. On the outskirts of the village, in the local cemetery, there is a chapel of St. Maximilian. It was built in a pure neo-Gothic style and dedicated in 1849 to St. Maximilian.
