Silver - fortress fortification

In the years 1936 and 1937, a fortress line was established in western Bohemia near Stříbra, which was supposed to protect industrial Pilsen from the fascists. The defensive line called the Pilsen line was a set of 32 buildings of model 36 ramparts and 53 model 37 ramparts. The fortifications are now looked after by the Military History Club from Stříbr. One of the most well-preserved pine trees can be found on the banks of the Mže river, not far from the Prokop tunnel.
