The monastery church in Kladruby u Stříbra

The small town of Kladruby is located near Stříbr, a short distance from the highway Pilsen - Rozvadov. Its main attraction is the former Benedictine monastery, which at the end of the 14th century was one of the richest monasteries in the Czech kingdom. The monastery was founded in 1115 by Prince Vladislav I of Przemysl for the Benedictine order. In 1393, John of Nepomuk, later known as Saint John of Nepomuk, was prosecuted and martyred here...
