Štramberk - Moravian Bethlehem

A fabulously beautiful place, it is also called the "Moravian Bethlehem" because of its picturesqueness. However, few people know that Štramberk was founded by Jan Jindřice of Luxemburg back in 1359.
Today's local landmark - the cylindrical stone tower Trúba is actually a remnant of the original Strallenberg castle. The city monument reserve is an urban set of folk architecture of Wallachian half-timbered cottages from the 18th and 19th centuries.…
