The village of Stavenice lies in the eastern direction from the town of Mohelnice and on the northern edge of the protected landscape area of Litovelské Pomoraví. The village is located on the left bank of the Morava River. In the southern direction from the village, extensive floodplain forests spread out, and in the other directions from the village there is a slightly undulating landscape with fields occasionally interrupted by small groves.
