Stará Ves - Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary

The most remarkable object in Stará Ves is the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, whose sixty-meter high tower dominates the surrounding area. Looking at the pilgrim from a distance, the church looks like an ancient medieval cathedral (especially in gloomy weather, as it happened to me during the descent from Holé kopce to Stará Ves), but up close it is a little different. It is "just" a neo-Gothic new building that was here...
