Our largest artillery fortress is located on the borders of the Krkonoše National Park near the so-called Ryhor Forest. From Trutnov, it is approx. 10 kilometers north by road to Žacléř. The red tourist route Rýchory - Trutnov (Cesta bratří Čapků) and the green tourist route Žacléř - Horní Staré Město lead through the fortress area.
