Sovinice "Remter"
Don't look for anything mysterious about the word "Remter": in 1623, Sovinec Castle fell to the Order of the Teutonic Knights and remained in their possession until the beginning of World War II. The new owners soon started rebuilding and, among other things, enriched the castle with a new landmark. It had a massive polygonal cannon tower, rising below the main tower and the old palace, and which catches everyone's attention even before entering the castle.…
