Sovinec
Sovinec Castle and the town of the same name are located 13 km south of Rýmařov on the edge of the Nízké Jeseník massif in the Andělskohorská vrchovina, which bears the name Sovinecká vrchovina after the castle.
The castle was founded by the brothers Pavel and Vok from the old Moravian Hrutovic family between 1318, when they acquired the nearby village of Křížov as a fief from the Olomouc bishop, and 1348, when they were first written "from Sovince" (de Aylnburk).
