Solnice is located 6 km northwest of Rychnov nad Kněžnou on the main road stretch Náchod - Rychnova nad Kněžnou ? Ústí nad Orlicí. The castle can be found about 100 m from the square on the left side in the direction of Náchod, in Komenského street, and after all the reconstructions it has undergone in the last 150 years, it does not even resemble a castle much anymore.
