Immaculate statue in Osová Bítýška

In the upper part of the village in Osová Bítýška (Žďár nad Sázavou district), above the church of St. Jacob the Greater, a small sandstone sculpture of the Virgin Mary Immaculate is hidden under a group of trees.
For the time being, its creation is only approximately between 1730 and 1750. The authorship is sometimes - but not very substantiated - attributed to the sculptor Alexander Jelínek from Velkomezrička. What is certain, however, is that the composition of the statue is almost…
