Tvrzský pond

It is located 4 km southeast of Křižanov on the Bítýška stream in the Bítešská vrchovina between the villages of Ořechov and Ronov. It is the lowest pond in the Ořechovské pond system. It occupies an area of ​​10,3 ha and lies 567 m above sea level. It is semi-circular in shape and has two bays on the northern side. Rich riparian vegetation lines the water area along its entire length. Nowadays, it is used exclusively for fish farming.
