The river rushes south with its waters. Its flow winds through a deep, rocky, sometimes steep valley and forms large meanders in its lower reaches. The water quietly flows freely and the silence in the surrounding landscape enhances the pleasant feeling of nature and peace of mind.

It is a small river in southern Bohemia, a right-hand tributary of the Lužnice River. The length of its course is almost 50 km and the catchment area measures around 250 km2.
