Reconciliation Cross Kadaň

A group of seven reconciliatory crosses, or their fragments, stands near the statue of St. John of Nepomuck, at the Way of the Cross in Smetanovy sady leading to the monastery. They were moved here from around Kadana, but it is not known when and from where. They are supposed to mark the graves of fallen French soldiers who died here in 1742 in the battle for the Franciscan Monastery.
