Franciscan monastery

Franciscan Monastery and Church of Fourteen Sts. helpers is located on the hill above Ohří, west of the city of Kadaň. On the site of the chapel of Fourteen St. assistants, the church was consecrated in 1480 with the contribution of Jan Hasištejnský from Lobkovice. In the years 1483 - 1506, a stone Monastery was built on the site of the original wooden one, also the south wing as the residence of the Lobkovics, called Popel's Dormitory.
