We are heading to the southern edge of Adršpašsko - Teplické skal, to the ruins of Skály Castle. The ruins of Skály Castle, also called Bischofstein, stand in the southwestern part of the sandstone plateau above the settlement of Skály near Teplice nad Metují. The castle was mentioned for the first time in 1393. The castle used to be the residence of the Hussite governor Matěj Salava from Lípa, who made raids against the Catholic Silesians from there.
