Sulfur spring
Not far from the crossroads, on the left bank of the Hamerské brook, there is a plentiful round spring of ferruginous water with a yellow-brown coating, after which it is traditionally called the Sulphur Spring, although the phenomenon is not related to sulfur in any way. The bacterium Leptothrix ochracea lives in ferruginous water, which collects iron compounds and forms rusty mushy clumps. A well-maintained branch of green leads to the spring over wooden bridges...
