Gallows Hill near Polička

There are many gallows hills in our republic, as if executions were a favorite pastime of our ancestors. It is therefore not surprising that one is also located southwest of the town of Poličky. It was also where executions took place until 1765. However, in this year, by decree of Her Imperial Grace, the status of the exercise of the right of the town of Polička was withdrawn, and since then this hill has been used by people for more God-pleasing activities.
