The well-known pilgrimage site and village of Sepekov is located about 3 km southeast of the town of Milevska by the Milevské stream at an altitude of 500 m.
The history of the village dates back to the 13th century, when it was founded by the Vítkov family from Prčice.
The dominant and at the same time the most important ecclesiastical and architectural monument of the village is the pilgrimage church of the Virgin Mary. The baroque building, which became the target of many processions, dates from 1730 - 1733.…
