Sedlec (Lanžov)
The surroundings of this village were already inhabited in prehistoric times, e.g. in 1878 a bronze palstav was found in the meadows between Velký Vřešťov and Sedelec. Originally, this village was also called Sedlce or Sedlice (in 1490 Sedlce, in 1542/1513 Sedlcz and in 1603 Sedlice). In 1409 it belonged to Václav of Vinařice, who sold his interest in it to Zdislav, the provost of St. Apollinaris (some sources speak of the year 1490). Not long…
