Ruda nad Moravou - Immaculata
Somewhat off the main road, on Sportovní street in Ruda, we find a baroque statue of the Virgin Mary. The Mother of God is depicted as Immaculata, i.e. standing on the moon disk, crushing the serpent (devil) with her foot. The prismatic base has acanthus decorations. A German inscription reveals that the statue was erected in 1715 by Frantz Wagner. The sculpture includes an iron lantern on a decorative curtain.
