Hostice - Monument to the World Wars

The monument to both world wars in Hostice (or as it is popularly called Hostýzi) can be found at the most luxurious building here, the former workhouse. Recently beautifully restored (100 years of the Republic).
The monument consists of a plinth made of a stone mound, on which is placed a stone obelisk made of polished dark granite. At the top, the head of a legionnaire is depicted with the country's insignia. Gilded Czechoslovak coat of arms under a gilded cornice.…
