The territory of this village was already inhabited in prehistoric times. On the field of Jan Neuman from No. 38, a skeleton with an iron ax was found on the left side of the road in 1895 (the year 15 is given in the "Hradecký kraj" of March 1908, 1894), which ended up in the Jaroměř museum.
