Cvilín lookout tower

The Cvilín lookout tower is not located on the hill of the same name, above the town of Krnov.



History of the lookout tower:


At the beginning of the 20th century, it was built by the Krnov section of the Moravian-Silesian Sudeten Mountain Association according to the project of architect Ernst Latzel. Back then, however, it looked much more decorative than it does today.
