Cvilín lookout tower - Krnov

This stone lookout tower was opened on June 11, 1903 according to the project of architect Ernest Latzel. The original building was 35,2 m high, as it had a turret on top, which has already been removed. Now the observation tower is 29 m high. 144 steps lead us to the viewing platform, from which we can see Peter's Pond, the Beskydy Mountains, the Jeseníky Mountains, the ruins of Šelenburg Castle, Krnov or the baroque Church of St. Crosses and the Seven Sorrowful Virgins…
