Hawthorn and Big Tree

Two connected municipalities, forming an ypsilon from an aerial view. Both "arms" of Ypsilon are separated from each other by a ridge that ends with Turov hill. From an administrative point of view, the villages are connected to the city of Hronov. They have a common post office and school, both have grocery stores and restaurants. They are connected to Hronov by the Náchod - Stárkov - Radvanice bus line.
