Hronov - park, Jiráskovy sady

The park is located at the border of the river Metuje and the birthplace of Alois Jirásk. The park is dominated by a bronze statue of Alois Jirásk by the sculptor Josef Malejovský. In the park, there are two mineral springs, Hronova and Regnerka, with alkaline-iron water. Regner spring is named after the patriotic priest who discovered the springs. The water is popularly called Prdlavka because of the characteristic "smell" of rotten eggs... …
