The Dyje River is one of the largest rivers in South Moravia. Its length, including the Austrian part, is 311 km. This river has two sources. The Austrian branch (Deutsche Thaza) originates near the village of Schweiggers in Lower Austria. The Moravian branch originates near Panenské Rozsíček at an altitude of 657 m above sea level. Both streams join on Austrian territory near the village of Raabs and return to the Czech Republic as one stream - the Dyje river below the village of Podhradí. On…
