Dyje river near Bítov
The Dyje River is one of the largest rivers in South Moravia. Its length, including the Austrian part, is 311 km. This river has two sources. The Austrian branch (Deutsche Thaza) originates near the village of Schweiggers in Lower Austria. The Moravian branch originates near Panenské Rozsíček at an altitude of 657 m above sea level.
