Bítov - Bítov Castle
The border castle Bítov stands on a rocky hill above the river Želetavka, near the confluence with the river Dyja. Bítov Castle is one of the oldest and most romantic castles in the Czech Republic. The first written mention of the estate in this place is from the year 1046 from the charter of the chapter in Stará Boleslav.
