Rakvice is a large wine-growing village with 2140 inhabitants and can be found northwest of the town of Břeclav and west of the town of Velké Bílovice. The road connecting the towns of Hustopeče and Břeclav runs around the northeastern edge of the village, and beyond this road is the D2 highway connecting Brno and Bratislava.
