Desolate Castle
The deserted castle is actually the remains of the advanced fortifications of Kašperk Castle, which lies 400 meters east on a rocky ridge. There was originally a five-sided tower, which was built at the same time as the castle, and the road leading to the right castle gate was therefore under the control of this guardhouse.
