Pictures from the Šumava region - Desolate castle near Kašperk castle

Today, the pilgrim finds only a pile of stones here. With a little imagination, you can recognize the remains of the building, once the advanced fortification of the nearby Kašperk Castle. The desolate castle was probably created during the reign of the Švamberk family in the first half of the 1th century on a strategic hill to secure the hill in front of the castle.
