Purkarec - church of St. George

The undisputed landmark of the South Bohemian village of Purkarec is the local cemetery church of St. George. It was built in the 60s, in II. in the middle of the 14th century, it underwent a significant Baroque modification, and in 18, a distinctive neo-Romanesque western tower was added to it with a southern extension for the staircase to the tower and to the tower itself.
