For millions of years, rivers have co-shaped the character of the landscape around us. And we visited one such place where the flow of the Jizera River left its mark on the magical natural scenery. Less than two kilometers from Semil, the Jizera River began to bite into the existing terrain during the Tertiary period, and thanks to this, it began to form a beautiful canyon-like valley, nowadays sometimes up to 130 meters deep.
