Příbram in Moravia - chapel of St. Florián

The modern chapel of St. Florian was consecrated in 1999. The foundation stone was consecrated in 1992.
This is the construction of an elliptical foundation. Also in the interior of the chapel, the shape of the ellipse is repeated, for example in the niches on the perimeter. The maximum ceiling height is 8,5m. The overall shape of the chapel is supposed to represent Noah's ark.
In the interior there is a sculpture of Christ with a highlighted heart.
The chapel is dedicated to St. Florian, the patron saint of the village.…
