The Mionší Forest was declared a National Nature Reserve in 1954. It is a hemlock forest with an area of ​​169,7 ha. It is located northeast of Horní Lomná on the ridge and slopes of the Úplaz range (950 masl) and Menší vrch (883 masl). The trees reach a height of 60 m and are 250 years old.
