Prachatice – sgraffito house near the Lower Gate

This beautiful Renaissance burgher's house from the mid-16th century can be found on Kostelní náměstí (no. 28), where it is adjacent to the former fortification wall at the Lower Gate and the similarly styled Heydl house. The two houses form such an architecturally coordinated whole that they are sometimes mistakenly described together as one house.
