Prace is a relatively large village with 870 inhabitants and can be found on the historical territory of the Slavkov battlefield, southeast of the town of Šlapanice and west of Slavkov u Brno. The village is located along the course of the Pracké brook and at the northern foot of the Pracké hill (324 masl).
