Monument on the staircase in front of the municipality building in Teplice

Originally, from 1913, there was a five-meter statue of Emperor Josef II on this pedestal. After the creation of independent Czechoslovakia, the statue of the emperor was removed. Later, a statue of Mozart was placed here. It remained here until 1945, when it was removed due to its origin. The pedestal was then empty until the end of the last century. Today there are two commemorative plaques on it. Plate with the inscription: Finger from Zborov, Dukla, Dunkirk,...
