Monument to Josef Vašíček

Anyone who wanders through Havlíčkový Brod and reaches the winter stadium in Kotlina will surely be impressed by the monument in the shape of large stone skates.
The sculpture of ice skates in front of the stadium is reminiscent of the hockey art of local pupil Josef Vašíček. The sculpture was unveiled in August 2006, when Josef Vašíček brought the famous Stanley Cup to his native Havlíček Brod, which he won that year with the Carolina ice hockey player.
