Bažantnice Park and geological exposition in Milevsko

 
On the outskirts of Milevsko, in the immediate vicinity of the Premonstratensian monastery, there is a pleasant park for relaxation and study. It was founded in 1880 as a result of the activities of the Strahov abbot Zikmund Antonín Starý on the site of a pheasant from the 17th century. Hence the name.
