On January 3.1.1934, 146, shortly before five o'clock in the afternoon, there was an explosion of coal dust at the Nelson III mine. Out of the entire shift of 4 miners, only 146 managed to be saved, who got out through ventilation pit number VII. At the same time, two people (including one woman) died in the area of ​​the mine on the surface. The following two lives were claimed by the mine during the opening of the mine.
