Around Osek
While walking around Osek, I used the marked educational trail that leads through the Osek Forest and on the slope of the Ore Mountains. It is 7 km long and overcomes a height difference of 255 meters. I came to Osek from Most via the Krušnohorská railway. From the station, I walked a short distance back to the level crossing, where the memorial is to the victims of the 1934 Nelson III mine disaster, when 144 miners tragically lost their lives.
