   Today is Saturday, May 6, 2000. With great fanfare - (and after a long delay) - the gates of Brumova Castle are finally opened and made available to the wider public. The once grand ruin of a massive border fortress built here to protect the borders from Hungarian incursions - and which almost disappeared from the face of the earth - is enjoying brand new blissful moments of glory and its resurrection.
