Ostrava - statue of Karel Kryl

In front of the Czech Radio building on the street Dr. Since June 2018, Šmerala has been home to a statue of the legend of Czech music - Karel Kryl, who recorded the first recordings for the album Bratříčka, zívrej vratka in 1967-69, on a high metal plinth. The author of the statue is David Moješčík, who is also the author of the statue of Leoš Janáček on Kuří rynku and the statue of Věra Špinarová in Husova Sad. All sculptures were made to order…
