Ostrava - church of St. Wenceslas

Roman Catholic Church of St. Wenceslas, built in the 13th century in the late Gothic style, is one of the most important cultural and historical monuments of the city of Ostrava. The church is built on Kostolny námestí near the central square of Moravske Ostrava.  
The oldest preserved mention of the church is from 1297, when the Ostrava parish priest and the bishop's notary Jindřich appear as witnesses in a document from Olomouc...
